WHO CAN DO EMS?The advantage of EMS is that it is suitable for everyone (from 18 years old), regardless of your sporting level. Because it is not up to you to adapt to the sport, but up to our Specialistes to adapt to you ! EMS is aimed at the greatest number of people, but there are contraindications for pregnant women, people with a pacemaker, people with epilepsy (or with heart problems), diabetics, people with cancer, and people with blood circulation problems. It is best to seek medical advice from your doctor before practicing EMS in any of these cases.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING A SESSION?For your first session at NOVAFIT, no need to worry, the club provides you with what you need and even more! You will find in our centre a relaxation area with, water, tea, apples and more to aid your wellbeing journey. It has many advantages , each more attractive than the other: Presentation of our method, the advantages of the technologies used and discussion with your Specialist regarding your objectives. The session begins with work on intensity to engage all muscle groups simultaneously during physical exercise. The Specialist offers you postures and exercises according to your objectives End of training, it's time to debrief with the Specialist!

IS EMS DANGEROUS?The answer is no ! The practice of EMS presents no risk of injury. Especially since you are accompanied by an EMS professional during each session, who ensures that you are in no danger. They will take every precaution to ensure that everything goes as smoothly as possible! For your peace of mind, EMS is FDA & TGA certified and is widely used within the health industry in Australia and throughout the world.

DOES IT HURT?A question that many ask themselves... And we are delighted to tell you that no, EMS does not hurt! It gives you a little tingling thanks to the impulses, but no pain! It's a special and unique sensation, but don't panic, no risk of electrocution or burn 😉 And if you feel any discomfort during your session, all you have to do is notify the Specialist so that they adapt the intensity of the session.
